About the event
Voices for Public Transportation (VPT) member Seamless Bay Area and Senator Scott Wiener are hosting a launch party for SB 1031, the Connect Bay Area Act. VPT has taken a support-if-amended position on this critical piece of legislation, which will transform Bay Area transit with an expected $1–2 billion in annual funding for more robust transit service, transit and safe street improvements, and climate resilient transportation infrastructure. However, we believe the bill can be even better!
